Teaching Techniques for Teachers and Assistants
This course answers to an area of education that has been subject to increasing demand over the past few years: tutoring.
Educational institutions are in a constant state of change as schools gradually introduce new technologies making it so that there are always new roles for teachers and students to fill. Such changes have opened a new field of scholastic needs to which professionals now have to respond. These professionals require specialised knowledge and a set of skills and techniques that are specifically adapted to these needs.
Educational reinforcement tutors are therefore increasingly needed both in schools and in families. This course is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge that attends to this ever-more-important position.
1 month (100 hours) from the 9th May 2018 – 9th June 2018.
100% online through our e-learning platform which you can access 24/7. There is no fixed learning rhythm and there are no set dates for the exams so you are free to work on the course and take the exams at your own pace. The only requirement is that you finish the course and pass the exams by the 9th of June.
Everything you will need to complete the course is available on the online platform. The course has 3 modules and the material is available in PDF format to download, study and print if you wish. Our material is dynamic and varied and includes audiovisual multimedia resources, links to complementary information, interesting facts, practical examples and research tools. You will have access to an online forum with a tutoring team at your disposal for any queries.
There is an exam at the end of each module (between 10 and 20 questions each) and you are given three attempts to pass. There is also a final exam (between 30 and 40 questions) which covers topics from the entire course and must be passed on the first attempt. All exam questions are multiple choice, true/false or matching.
Once you have successfully passed all the exams, your certificate will be sent automatically to the email address you used for registration within 10 working days of the official end date of the course.
Our certificates are officially backed by the EADL (European Association for Distance Learning) and are assured under the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. This certificate will be complete with an electronic signature and stamp as well as a unique secure verification code. Any person or company can verify the validity of the certificate using this code. We are also included in the Transparency Register of the European Union.
