In recent years, growing rates of obesity have become a concern due to their direct link to chronic illnesses. Similarly, current pressure to conform to aesthetic expectations has caused a large part of the population to exhibit negative emotional reactions to food.
Since the majority of failures when pursuing healthy eating habits are not due to a lack of nutritional information, it becomes clear that active involvement in one’s own nutritional assessment is the key to motivation and commitment.
Seen from this perspective, nutritional coaching is a suitable technique through which the client identifies and overcomes their obstacles. It creates an adequate environment and guides the person towards the attitudes and determination required to make a change in their diet, while at the same time managing to improve other aspects of their personality and lifestyle.
2 months (150 hours) from the 26th July 2018 – 26th September 2018.
100% online through our e-learning platform which you can access 24/7. There is no fixed learning rhythm and there are no set dates for the exams so you are free to work on the course and take the exams at your own pace. The only requirement is that you finish the course and pass the exams by the 26th of September.
Everything you will need to complete the course is available on the online platform. The course has 5 modules and the material is available in PDF format to download, study and print if you wish. Our material is dynamic and varied and includes audiovisual multimedia resources, links to complementary information, interesting facts, practical examples and research tools. You will have access to an online forum with a tutoring team at your disposal for any queries.
There is an exam at the end of each module (between 10 and 20 questions each) and you are given three attempts to pass. There is also a final exam (between 30 and 40 questions) which covers topics from the entire course and must be passed on the first attempt. All exam questions are multiple choice, true/false or matching.
Once you have successfully passed all the exams, your certificate will be sent automatically to the email address you used for registration within 10 working days of the official end date of the course.
Our certificates are officially backed by the EADL (European Association for Distance Learning) and are assured under the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. This certificate will be complete with an electronic signature and stamp as well as a unique secure verification code. Any person or company can verify the validity of the certificate using this code. We are also included in the Transparency Register of the European Union.
There is a one-time payment of £60 which covers the costs associated with producing and sending the certificate, maintaining the online platform and our personal tutoring service.
