Introduction:

Early Childhood Intervention is a fairly new area of intervention dedicated to responding to the needs of children between 0 and 6 years old who have developmental problems or who are at risk of developing them. It helps to integrate these children in their surroundings. This type of intervention not only involves the child but also the family and school.

This course provides fundamental information about childhood development, possible risk factors, and key points about how to use Early Childhood Intervention to allow children to achieve optimal development. This course is kept current by including information about alternative or complementary therapies alongside more traditional methods.
