Special Education ensures that children and youths with special needs learn and develop to their full potential. It emphasises the need for everyone to benefit from education and also enforces school, family and social inclusion for children with special needs, removing the barriers that often exist when it comes to learning, participating and integrating in society.<\/p>\n

Inclusion ensures that people who have been excluded have access to the opportunities and resources necessary to participate in social and cultural life, and ensures their right to live a life as an integrated member of a community. By supporting inclusion and social integration of children and youths with disabilities, Social Education is crucial in order for these individuals to develop fully and become independent adults who value themselves and who have a place in society.<\/p>\n

This course covers attention to diversity in schools, special educational needs, and how to intervene in order to achieve inclusive education. It also looks at how it is possible to increase awareness in children and youths through leisure and free time activities, and how young individuals with special needs can be integrated into groups through adapted games.<\/p>\n

<\/i> DURATION:<\/strong><\/span>
\n4 weeks (80 hours) from the 19th April 2018 \u2013 17th May 2018.<\/strong>
\n–<\/span>
\n<\/i> FORMAT:<\/span><\/strong>
\n100% online<\/strong> through our e-learning platform<\/strong> which you can access 24\/7. There is no fixed learning rhythm and there are no set dates for the exams so you are free to work on the course and take the exams at your own pace. The only requirement is that you finish the course and pass the exams by the 17th of May<\/strong>.
\n–<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/i> METHODOLOGY:<\/strong><\/span>
\nEverything you will need to complete the course is available on the online platform. The course has 2 modules<\/strong> and the material is available in PDF format to download, study and print if you wish. Our material is dynamic<\/strong> and varied and includes audiovisual multimedia resources, links<\/strong> to complementary information, interesting facts, practical examples and research tools<\/strong>. You will have access to an online forum<\/strong> with a tutoring team at your disposal<\/strong> for any queries.
\n–<\/span>
\n<\/i> EXAMS:<\/strong><\/span>
\nThere is an exam at the end of each module<\/strong> (between 10 and 20 questions each) and you are given three attempts<\/strong> to pass. There is also a final exam (between 30 and 40 questions) which covers topics from the entire course and must be passed on the first attempt<\/strong>. All exam questions are multiple choice, true\/false or matching.
\n–<\/span>
\n<\/i> CERTIFICATE:<\/strong><\/span>
\nOnce you have successfully passed all the exams, your certificate will be sent automatically to the email address you used for registration within 10 working days of the official end date of the course.
\n–<\/span>
\n<\/i> VALIDITY:<\/span><\/strong>
\nOur certificates are officially backed by the EADL<\/strong> (European Association for Distance Learning) and are assured under the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System<\/strong>. This certificate will be complete with an electronic signature and stamp<\/strong> as well as a unique secure verification code<\/strong>. Any person or company can verify the validity of the certificate using this code. We are also included in the Transparency Register of the European Union<\/strong>.

\n<\/i> ADMINISTRATIVE FEE:<\/strong><\/span>
\nThere is a one-time payment of \u20ac30 which<\/strong> covers the costs associated with producing and sending the certificate, maintaining the online platform and our personal tutoring service.<\/p>\n
